New North Baddesley village of the 20th century is almost entirely built on former Romsey Estates land at Toothill and Lusborough farms, and on the Estate's portion of Baddesley Common, south of the Botley Road.
Sir Thomas Fleming owned the Manor of 'North Baddesley for about 20 years from 1583.
